The TaylorMade R9 Super Tri Driver offers terrific distance that is achieved through optimization. This club has a 460cc head and a lower cg, meaning long shots that get you to the green faster. This club promotes up to 75 yards of side-to-side trajectory change for straighter, longer tee shots. This club has a new aerodynamic shape with deeper face, meaning bigger hits with more spin, which carries the ball farther.
Features:
> First time FCT and MWT have co-existed in a maximum-sized 460cc clubhead
> FCT permits you to change the face angle, MWT permits you to change the CG
> 24 combinations of differing face angles and CG locations to promote 75 yards of side-to-side trajectory change
> Deepest clubface of any driver with MWT
> Aerodynamic head shape for less drag
> Fujikura Motore 55-gram shaft promotes higher launch angle and more spin
> Great-looking "black-on-black" clubhead and clubface

The 60-gram
Fujikura Motore
graphite shaft is engineered with a new, advanced tip construction that promotes faster ball speed. Called High Inertia Tip (H.I.T.) technology, it's characterized by an optimally designed tip architecture that promotes added kick through the impact zone to promote increased ball speed and distance.

Bought the Taylormade R9 Supertri Driver on a 90 day program promising 15 yards longer off the tee. My Nike Dymo Squared had been effective and reliable. After swing both on the monitor, the R9 was adjusted to a closed face, and my lanuch angle, and on line was better.
Taylormade R9 Supertri Driver is a good looking and well built club. However it does not give you a good feedback during the contact, and head has too much offset make this driver easy to hook the ball.
